Voice of the People in Slovenia (and Venice)

Each year Yvette Staelens  and her community choir of naturist voices (sic) jet off to some interesting country, sing with a local choir and then come home. This year it was Slovenia where, thanks to the lovely Stasa Slapnik we found the lovely Tanja Jamnik and with the further help of the lovely Janez Medja we even got some lovely busses and hotels out of it.

Here's what actually happened

Fri 16 Oct	An important reason to go to Slovenia Fly RYANAIR  to Venice Treviso 1125 arr 1435 1500 Met by Slovenian coach + minibus and then travell to   Portoroz (Slovenia) Accommodation Hotel Vile Portoroz   http://www.hotel-vile-park-portoroz.com/en/                2130 Evening meal  After this the group bumped into an Austrian group who were having a party and so both had an EVEN BIGGER party
Sat  17  Oct	Now that's what I call calamari. 0800-0900 Breakfast  . Spending the morning on the Adriatic coast involved, for most, a short walk to Piran 20 minutes. Where some of us certainly had grilled calamari and blitva and a nice glass of white wine oh yes. Sun  18  Oct	a Wedding in Bled(ding) 0800-0900 Breakfast  Free day in Bled…visit to island, castle ,lake, Pletna Boat trip to island 12 €/person, Entrance to church on the island 3 €/person; Bled castle 9 €/person (8€ group price+22) Walk around Lake Bled (free) 1700 evening meal 1815 bus to Radovljica (10 minutes) 1900 concert at Radovljica Manor with the Slovenian choir Musica viva Kranj http://www.musicaviva.si/ 2000 social with choir                        2230 depart for Bled
Mon 19 Oct	08 A choir by a lake 00-0900 Breakfast. Transfer to Venice depart 0700 so we could all spend some time in the city. Note for future trips..possibly not a good idea unless the whole group stays together.... Midday (well slightly later due to lateness) most of the group flew home via arrive Treviso   Fly Ryanair Venice Treviso to Bristol  1500 arr 1620. Meanwhile back in the floaty world The rest of the group stayed on for 2 more nights at the  Ostello Venezia (Giudecca)
Tues 20 Oct	odd unexplained incident in Venice Free time in Venice. People did their own thing. And then came back to the Ostello.
Wed 21 Oct	Ostello..not THAT far from the waters edge... Free time in Venice 1730 meeting at Ostello for transfer to airport. Vaporetto 2 >Piazzale Roma >Marco Polo airport (1820 or 1850) by 1930 Easyjet Flight 2130 arrive Gatwick 2240
